On FreeBSD python2.7 is the default

$ python -V
Python 2.7.9

If you develop with python3, you will want to use pip3, which doesn’t seem to exist by default.

$ python3.4 -m pip help
/usr/local/bin/python3.4: No module named pip

Sort per the below:

$ curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py > get-pip.py
$ sudo python3.4 get-pip.py
